How long does the transfer of property take?

What is the process of Bond Registration?

Once we have obtained the client’s FICA documents (ID and proof of Address), we draft the Bond documents and arrange signature with the client and thereafter send some of the documents required by the bank for final approval. Once we have the Bank’s approval, we then liaise with the Transferring Attorneys to lodge the documents at the Deeds Office. It then takes about 10 working days to then register the Bond.

This usually depends on whether the matter is opposed or unopposed, and whether the matter has a settlement or not. Depending on the court in which your matter is pending it can take approximately 18 months from the day you initiate the divorce.
